DPA Supply Chain is looking on behalf of a leading healthcare company for a:

Strategic Buyer – South of Europe (Eindhoven/ Fulltime)

Your Responsibilities

In this role you will manage / provide support to a South of Europe Key Market on strategic and initial sourcing of 3rd-party resale products. This includes implementing 3rd party resale purchase strategies and policies to maximize leverage opportunities on price, contract terms & conditions and streamlining operation processes.

Other responsibilities include:

• Tactically and strategically sourcing 3rd party resale suppliers for Business Center (BC) Eindhoven;

• Negotiating and contracting with suppliers;

• Leveraging the purchasing volume on resale products and services, systematically delivering savings;

• Continuously improving prices, terms and conditions;

• Member of Global Purchase 3rd Party Commodity Team and co-developing global purchase commodity strategies;

• Managing and further developing one of the BC Purchase Resale purchase commodities;

• Support the process of purchase orders;

• Monitoring purchase order status and suppliers on KPI’s;

• Supporting logistic order managers.

To be successful in this role, you are/have:

• Bachelors (HBO) or university (WO) degree in a commercial field;

• 3 to 5 years working experience in the field of supply management or purchasing (with growth potential);

• Results driven, and customer minded;

• Hands-on mentality, self-starter and team player;

• Good verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English and another south of Europe language.

The Business Center EMEA is located in Eindhoven and combines several back office functions in the commercial supply chain to achieve process efficiencies. By doing so, the Key Markets are enabled to increase quality time with our customer.

The Business Center EMEA will support the Key Markets in Healthcare, which started with MCR (Multi Country Region) EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) Benelux, UK&Ireland and Iberia. The scope will now expand for south of Europe.
